I'd rather go here than Walmart any day not laid out very well. Kind of pricey good sales if you could catch things on sale. The gas outside is a whole lot cheaper than anywhere else
Gas station with attendant in the parking lot. The gas prices are competitive and is usually a few cents lower than surrounding gas stations. There is an air pump machine available for $0.75. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. The store is well organized and stocked. The isles are clean and well labeled. The prices are a bit on the high end, however, their weekly sales are very reasonable and worth your time. They have quality meats and vegetables. The checkout lines are quick with very little wait time. They bag everything and deliver to your car which means no shopping cart to worry about. They now have Tuesday senior discounts - awesome.
Great people. Great prices. It's not the fanciest, but it is perfect for Gilmer! And people that say it's expensive just need to look around the store more and shop for better deals! It's one of the best Brookshires around!
Found everything I needed today. I struggled a little to find the things I needed. The store was clean and there were employers everywhere busy either stocking or assisting others. Pleasant day in this store.
Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they run out of sale items from time to time, so you can't always get what you had planned on getting. Store is kept very clean.
Brookshire’s is a good place for a grocery run but they don’t always have the widest variety, definitely a better place to shop for groceries than Walmart, this location specifically seems to be a smaller one so it’s selection compared to the Brookshire’s in Gladewater or white oak seems to be lacking and they always seem to be running low on inventory of items on special, the staff is very friendly and the store very tidy; would definitely recommend, get there early on in the week if you want something from the weekly flyer; especially the bacon.
Brookshires in Gilmer is a great store. Friendly workers, always. Variety is gotten better and better over the years. The store has just about all you need in the grocery area and you do not have to walk your legs off to get over the whole store. That has become a big deal with me as I get older. The checkout ladies are always friendly and polite. There is always a nice fellow to bag your groceries and take them to your car and load them. They are careful not to squash them and are always so polite. I highly recommend this store.
Everyone is very nice there. The lady at the register helped me get a Brookshire card. The manager carried my groceries out for me even though I had three small bags. It's their policy.
